We can treat many common eye diseases. Whether our patients have glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eyes, or any of the many sight-threatening conditions, we want to help you see you best not only today, but for many years to come.
Diabetic Eye Exams
Diabetes is the fastest-growing cause of blindness in America. If you have diabetes, annual eye examinations are especially important.
The eye is the only place in the entire body where we can directly view the blood vessels. As part of our evaluation, you will see a digital photograph of the blood vessels in the back of your eyes.
We will correspond with your primary care physician and/or endocrinologist to let him/her know that your eyes were evaluated for signs of diabetes. We will share the results with you immediately, and let you know if any further treatment is needed.
Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration
Glaucoma and age related macular degeneration are vision-threatening progressive eye diseases. The risks increase with age. We screen for, diagnose, and manage these eye diseases and more.
Cataracts
Cataracts, like wrinkles, are a natural part of the aging process. Rarely, it can impact younger people as well. Ultimately the treatment is surgery, but it is very low-risk and associated with excellent results. We co-manage cataract surgery.
